Aziz Sanjar visited the State Committee

World known scientist, Laureate of Nobel Memorial Prize, professor Aziz Sanjar visited the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and met the Committee staff.
After welcoming the guest, the Committee Chairman Fuad Muradov expressed his satisfaction with scientist’s visit to Azerbaijan. “Aziz Sanjar's life and scientific activity, also the works done by him for the moral unity of the Turkic world give an impetus to the upbringing of the young generation in the spirit of national and patriotic loyalty and increase interest in science and education in the era of globalization”- quoted the Committee chairman.
Messoud Efendiev, the first Azerbaijani scientist who was awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation also participated at the meeting. He highly appreciated the works done in the field of diaspora formation recently and called Aziz Sanjar Azerbaijan’s great friend.
Aziz Sanjar thanked for the warm welcoming and spoke about Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship and fraternity based on common values, adding that he is ready to do his best for further strengthening of the relations among Turkic states and fully supports Azerbaijan.
It is worthy of note that by the order of President Ilham Aliyev dated September 10, 2021, Aziz Sanjar was awarded the "Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan" for his services in the development of international humanitarian relations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
