Azerbaijani journalists were commemorated in front of the UN and influential media organizations in New York

A series of actions organized by Erjan Yerdalanli, a member of the board of the Coordination Council of American Azerbaijanis and head of the Azerbaijan New York Association were held in New York in memory of Azerbaijani journalists killed in a mine explosion.
The purpose of the exhibitions held in front of the UN headquarters, NBS Studios and the Associated Press was to draw attention to the deaths of Azerbaijani journalists Maharram Ibrahimov and Siraj Abishov, as well as a local official who was on duty in the Kalbajar region, as well as Armenia's continuing war crimes and refusal to provide mine maps.
The exhibitions featured photos of journalists and posters depicting Armenia's mine crimes. The slogans such as "Give us mine maps!", "Armenia's war crimes against Azerbaijani journalists", "Armenia does not follow the law", "Armenia is the killer of Azerbaijani journalists!", "Save us from mines!" were delivered in posters.
During the event, local residents were informed about the war crimes and provocations committed by official Yerevan against our people.
With these actions, Erjan Yerdalanli called on the world community and the international media not to be indifferent to the provocative actions of Armenia and the deaths of Azerbaijani journalists in the line of duty, and to support the just and fair position of Azerbaijan.
