“The Azerbaijani House in the Netherlands” has repaired a mosque in Leeuwarden

With the organizational and charitable support of the members of the "Azerbaijani House in the Netherlands" operating in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Ulu-Jami Turkish Mosque in Leeuwarden was repaired.
Elkhan Mirhashimli, head of the “Azerbaijani House in the Netherlands”, said that the mosque was found to be in need of repair last year.
"As soon as the members of our organization informed about it, in May 2020, we started painting the facade of the mosque building. In 2021, repair work was carried out inside the mosque. On the eve of the beginning of Ramadan, the Sultan of 11 months, we completed the renovation and made our Muslim brothers and sisters happy by handing over the mosque. May my Lord accept the prayers of all those who fast, and bring health and joy to their families!” diaspora leader added.
The board of the Ulu-Jami Mosque awarded the “Azerbaijan House in the Netherlands” with a letter of thanks for its charitable action. It should be noted that, Leuvarden is the capital of the northern Dutch province of Friesland. The Ulu-Jami Mosque in the city is part of the Dutch Religious Foundation (HDV).
