With the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora and organization of the "AzIz" Israel-Azerbaijan International Association, an internet program titled “Hello, Novruz” was presented on YouTube.
The program was started with the opening speech by Yegana Salman, director of the Azerbaijani Cultural Center under the “AzIz” Israel-Azerbaijan International Association. She noted that holding this year's Novruz holiday in our liberated lands has caused great joy.

Drawing attention to the antiquity of Novruz, the museum director said that the collection of "Khamsa" by the great master of words, genius Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi shows that Novruz was first celebrated in 350 BC. Giving detailed information about the traditions of Novruz holiday, the speaker noted that during the USSR, the name of this holiday was banned.
Only in the second half of the 1960s this holiday was allowed to be celebrated as the Spring holiday. Since 2009, Novruz has been included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO.
