A video conference on "Women - the most valuable being in the world" was organized
The Coordination Council of Sweden Azerbaijanis and “Odlar Yurdu” Swedish-Azerbaijani Cultural Association organized a video conference on "Women - the most valuable being in the world" on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day.
Diana Laytinen Carlson, Member of the Swedish Parliament, Deputy Chairperson of the Women's Organization of the Social Democratic Party in Yonchöping Region, spoke on "Women's Rights Before and Now", Irada Aliyeva Söderberg, Coordinator of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Sweden, Member of the Yonchöping City Council spoke on "The struggle for rights as an immigrant woman", Sevinj Nematova, Chaiworman of the “Odlar Yurdu” Swedish-Azerbaijani Cultural Association, Deputy Chairwoman of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Sweden, spoke on "Azerbaijani women are the most reliable support of our native language, culture and spirituality."
Swedish guests Karin Widerberg, Karina Hanell, Marie Pantzar, members of the Coordination Council of Azerbaijanis in Sweden Raziya Kazimova, Rashad Moen, Ramiza Farajova and Inji Murtuzayeva joined the discussions. They spoke about the role of women in society, their successes, their rights, the challenges they face and the solutions to their problems.
Our compatriots Reyhan Aliyeva, Mahira Mukhtarova, Ruhiyya Isayeva, Ulviya Najafova, Heyran Khalifa Bonab, as well as guests from Baku, who took an active part in the event, addressed interesting questions to the lecturers.
