100th anniversary of Lotfi Zadeh was celebrated in Israel

With the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center under the “AzIz” Azerbaijan-Israel International Association organized a video conference on "The value of fuzzy logic in modern times" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Lotfi Zadeh, founder of fuzzy logic theory, honorary member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, professor at the University of California.

on the 100th anniversary of prominent scientist Lotfi Zadeh noted that the Azerbaijani scientist, who was born 100 years ago in the Novkhani settlement of Baku and became a genius of world science, expanded the logic of Aristotle, which has existed for more than 2,000 years, with his revolutionary theory. It was noted that Zadeh's fuzzy theory opened a new stage in the history of mathematics, cybernetics, computer science and computer engineering, and the 5 fundamental theories and innovations he gave to world science stimulated the development of various technological and industrial fields and they are widely used in artificial intelligence, genetic algorithms, robotics, mechanical engineering and other fields.
