Life24 TV's "Hollanda Charshi Pazar" program broadcast in the Kingdom of the Netherlands spoke about Azerbaijan's just struggle and its victory.
Being of the guest of the host of the program Yavuz Nufel, chairman of the Netherlands- AzerbaijanTurkish Cultural Association Ilhan Ashkin gave detailed information about the history of Azerbaijan's state independence, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Khojaly genocide and the occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia. He noted that in the Netherlands, where he lived for 33 years, together with all diaspora organizations, they tried to deliver Azerbaijani realities, demanded to put an end to Armenia's aggressive policy in accordance with international law and demanded justice for Khojaly.
Ilhan Ashkin said that he was sued by Armenians in the Netherlands for using the words "One day the owners will return to the lands you occupied today, they will be graves for you" at one of the events, but the results of the 44-day war proved that he was right.
"For 200 years we have longed for victory. We have always been expelled from our native lands, deported and subjected to massacres. "During the 44-day war, under the leadership of President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani army heroically liberated our lands from Armenian occupation," Ilhan Ashkin added.
At the end of the program, Ilhan Ashkin and Yavuz Nufel congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his birthday and thanked him for the historic victory in Karabakh.
